Rental Agreement — Guest Terms

Licence to Occupy

When a guest books accommodation through yorkeholiday.com or its affiliated short-term booking channels, the booking constitutes a temporary, revocable licence granted by YORKE HOLIDAY (acting as agent for the property owner) to the guest to occupy the premises for holiday or short-term stay purposes only, in accordance with the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008 (QLD) exclusions for holiday lettings.

Guest Obligations and House Rules

By checking into the property, the guest agrees to strictly adhere to the following community standards:

  • No Parties or Events: Strictly no commercial parties, functions, or unauthorized gatherings are permitted on the premises.
  • Noise Restrictions: Guests must respect neighbors and comply with Queensland local council noise regulations. Quiet hours must be observed between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
  • Maximum Occupancy: The total number of registered guests must not exceed the maximum capacity specified in the booking confirmation.

Damages and Security Bond

The guest authorizes YORKE HOLIDAY to deduct funds from their nominated credit card or security bond to cover any excessive cleaning fees, broken items, missing property, or physical damage caused to the premises during the stay period.
